Jewellery POS software in Sri Lanka: gold rate billing done right

Price every piece from today’s gold rate, keep every stone with its certificate, and take old gold in exchange.

Works offline · Multi-branch · Designed for Sri Lankan tax invoices

  • Jewellery shops
  • Gold & silver jewellers
  • Gem shops
  • Jewellery chains

Jewellery billing is easy to get wrong: the gold rate changes, every piece has its own weight and making charge, stones need their certificates, and old gold must be valued fairly. Nveloop POS prices each piece from today’s rate by purity, adds making charges and stones, and shows VAT correctly. It records gross and net weight, design numbers and gemstone details, and values old gold automatically. It comes from Nveloop, the team behind software for Sri Lanka’s gem trade, and suits jewellers, gold shops and jewellery chains.

Buying advice

What to look for in jewellery billing software

Jewellery billing starts with the gold rate. Your POS should hold today’s rate for each purity and price every piece from its weight, adding the making charge the way you charge it — per gram, as a percentage or as a fixed amount. Gross and net weight should both be on record.

Look also for gemstone details and certificates kept with the piece, a fair and automatic old-gold calculation, and manager approval for large discounts. With unique pieces, the system must make sure the same item can never be sold twice.
