A restaurant loses money in small ways: an order that never reached the kitchen, a table left waiting for the bill, a service charge worked out by hand. Nveloop POS brings the floor, the kitchen and the cashier together, so every order goes to the right station, every bill is correct and you can see at the end of the night exactly what sold. It is built for Sri Lankan restaurants, cafés, hotel dining rooms and rice and curry shops, and it keeps working when the internet drops.
The everyday problems Nveloop POS fixes
Orders get lost between the table and the kitchen.
Each item prints or shows at its own kitchen station the moment it is ordered.
Bills take too long at the end of a meal.
The bill is ready as soon as the table asks, with service charge and VAT already worked out.
Nobody knows which tables are free.
A live floor plan shows free, occupied, reserved and cleaning tables at a glance.
You only find out what sold after counting.
Sales, best sellers and payments are in the day-end report automatically.
Restaurant & Café POS features
Live floor plan
See every table as free, occupied, reserved or being cleaned, and move a party to another table in a tap.
Kitchen printers and screens
Send each item to its own station — hot kitchen, grill, pizza or tea bar — on a printer or a kitchen screen.
Modifiers made simple
Sizes, extras, “no onion”, spice levels and a note on any item, so the kitchen makes it right first time.
Service charge and VAT, correctly
The 10% service charge common in Sri Lanka is added automatically and VAT is applied on top the right way.
Split payments
Let a table pay one bill with cash, card and LankaQR together, and print the receipt in seconds.
Takeaway and delivery
Take takeaway, phone and WhatsApp orders on the order desk and track delivery partners and riders.
Happy hour and meal deals
Set promotions to switch on and off by time, such as happy hour or a lunchtime meal deal.
Kitchen view with timers
The kitchen sees what is new, cooking and ready, with a timer on every ticket so late orders stand out.
From opening to closing
- Morning
Staff sign in, open the shift and count the cash drawer. The floor plan shows the reservations booked for lunch.
- Busy hour
Waiters take orders at the table on a tablet. Rice and curry goes to the hot kitchen, juices to the tea bar, and the cashier settles bills with split payments.
- Closing
The manager closes the shift, checks the cash against sales and the day-end report is emailed to the owner automatically.
What to look for in a restaurant POS
Start with the kitchen. A good restaurant POS sends each item to the station that cooks it, so the grill never waits for a ticket meant for the tea bar. Ask whether it can use printers and screens together, because many kitchens want a screen on the line and paper at the bar.
Next, check the bill. In Sri Lanka most dine-in bills carry a service charge with VAT on top, and the order matters. Your POS should do this for you and show it clearly on the receipt and the day-end report. Finally, make sure it keeps working when the internet drops in the middle of a busy dinner.

Can waiters take orders on a tablet?
Yes. Waiters can take orders on an Android tablet or iPad at the table, and each item goes straight to its kitchen station.
Does it handle the 10% service charge and VAT?
Yes. The service charge is added to dine-in bills and VAT is applied correctly. Both are shown on the bill, the receipt and the day-end report.
Can the kitchen use a screen instead of paper?
Yes. Each station can use a kitchen printer, a kitchen display screen, or both.
Will it keep working if the internet goes down during service?
Yes. The register keeps taking orders and payments offline and syncs automatically when the connection returns, without double sales.
Is it suitable for cafés and small restaurants?
Yes. You can start with one register and add tables, kitchen screens or more branches when you need them.
